My first and possibly last camera bag
I've just started getting into photography within the last 6 months. For the first few months after I bought a mirrorless camera, I was toting it around in a backpack with all my other junk. Horror of all horrors, it was not even a backpack made for carrying a camera. I know, I know.

I finally sprung for a new bag. A friend had the grey version of this bag and loved it. I opted for the leather and never looked back. The comfortable strap and lightweight body have been great. Super easy to tote around and even easier to access the gear i need on the go. For a lightweight small bag, it totally does the job and holds way more gear than you think it would. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting a new bag.

A couple of gripes I have with it. As a web designer I carry around a 15-inch macbook pro. It totally fits in the bag, but it's a little snug and the zipper to the computer pocket won't zip close with such a large laptop. The other issue I have is that I wish the compartments were a little more customizable. You can add and remove them, but only in specific places. The individual strips of velcro in a couple of places allow for limited configuration.

    Color
This looks amazing. I already own two incase camera sling bags. My dream would be this one in natural BROWN LEATHER. If you think this would be a great addition please reviews this as helpful. :-)

    Great camera bag
Bought the grey version a few years back and have been using it since, the issue with the grey is that it gets dirty easily and the colour faded a bit through time.
Received this new black one just yesterday, it's almost identical to the grey one but just the fabric feels nicer and softer, and as it's made of genuine leather so hope the quality lasts longer.
A great camera bag in general!

Amazing bag, with one tiny flaw.
The original Ari was, and is, one of my favorite bags, if not my absolute favorite. It combined excellent aesthetics, solid protection, just enough customization, a clever layout, comfort and a less obvious approach to the camera bag. It didn't scream "i'm a camera bag, steal me". But it had what I considered one reasonable flaw, it's light heathered grey canvas was subject to the effects of grime and dirt. To put it simply: it gets dirty quickly, even if one sprays protective chemicals on it. From the first time I put it on (almost 3 years ago) my fiance and I both agreed a version in black leather would be ideal.
    ENTER THE ARI BLACK.
When I saw the announcement on Instagram I squealed like a schoolgirl at a One Direction concert and showed my lady, she nodded in approval. After some haggling and compromising, within three days of its release, I ordered it. Upon arrival I was ecstatic. The materials and quality appeared to be above that of the original. The leather had just enough leathery aroma, the canvas back felt astoundingly sturdy, everything was sewn with diligence. I doubt I'll ever feel comfortable to drop the cash it would take to own an all leather Billingham or Ona bag, but with this bag I feel no need. My favorite camera bag is now in a leather that rivals any of those other little beauties.
However, it is not all roses and rose' for me. One of my absolute favorite features of the original bag was the ability to reverse the strap, being able to place it on my right shoulder as opposed to the left makes this bag nearly perfect. This features has been slightly hampered in the Ari Black. In order to make the reversal one in the original has to back the nylon "seat belt" material strap back through the loops, detach it from the body and flip it around, simple enough. This is almost effectively impossible with the Ari Black. The ends of the strap have been folded over and sewn to think to push back through the loop. The original was folded over once and sewn, this version is folder over twice. I contacted Incase about a remedy and the customer service was excellent but did explain that all bags have been manufactured this way. I could return it via my warranty but the replacement bag would be identical. Saddened I took it upon myself to fix it via some diy actions; which included a hot knife rope cutter, a tailor and some super glue. The bag works great now, but i have negated my warranty. Just be forewarned of this one issue.
I said all that to see that aside from this slight flaw, the bag is excellent, amazing, wonderful and a whole bunch of other superlatives.

A modern classic gets a premium update.
This is one work of a bag. I have the original Ari Marcopoulos bag, which I use for everyday explorations/ small gigs. It was an already ergonomic beauty which helped compliment my Incase DSLR Pro Pack, which I use for bigger shoots/ weddings.

When I first saw sight of the Black Edition at this year's Photo Plus Expo, it was a no brainer.
The price seems a bit high, but let me assure you this is some premium grade pebble grain leather. The existing features seem like they've gotten a bit of an upgrade as well. Thicker padding, softer plush interior, and gold accents are winners for me.

    Currently in my bag.
    - Contax G2 with 28mm f2.8
    - Contax 45mm f2 planar
    -Contax TLA 200
-5 rolls of Fujifilm Pro 400H

    - Nikon D750 with MB-D16

    -YN- 568EX Speedlite
