This travel back is great. I only received this yesterday however I was able to pack in all my tech goodies along with some clothes for a full day out and about. I am a techie and carry lots of stuff with me at any given time. I was using an older incase backpack but always had to carry a second brief in order to carry all my equipment. This thing is nice. Lots of compartments , can be minimal if you choose or go all out like me. My laptop is snug and I carry my iPad , glasses, chords , cables , go pro + accessories of all sorts , shoes , external hard drive, books , writing pad ... The list goes on and on. It doesn't feel heavy and the mesh is great for the laptop. Def worth the buy for anyone looking for everyday or weekend bag. You can absolutely fit more than 2 day's worth of clothing ! Awesome purchase !

Report offensive review7 of 7 people found this review helpfulMy favorite Incase Backpack which I've owned so far!
I have had this backpack for a little over 2 years.
I'm one of those guys who takes his backpack EVERYWHERE. I have been using this for my daily commutes in NYC, Traveling, Hiking, and Photography. Most of the time I leave the house, I leave it with my backpack, even if it is barely full since it's so lightweight and allows me to carry around little gadgets stashed away in the versatile pockets this backpack has.
The fact that this backpack expands is another great feature! I have been able to pack an astronomical amount of stuff inside of this bag while traveling: perfectly fitting my 15" MacBook Pro with a sleeve, my Wacom Cintique 13" with a sleeve, all of my cords, a portable hard-drive and other various gadgets and accessories. The padding on the back of the backpack keeps my back comfortable, and the front clasps improve the ergonomics even more when the fully-packed.
The quality is there, of course you will see signs of wear after a while of use, especially on the coated canvas part, but to me that just adds character and doesn't affect functionality at all!
Cons: I have found only one con that actually bothers me in this backpack: when fully extended (%35), and fully packed, the top backpack tends to recline back and the bottom tends to stay the same shape. This is due to the fact that the material is slightly stretchable thus allowing this to happen when you fully pack it. No big deal, but makes it a little bit harder on your back. But I also tend to pack it with a lot of heavy stuff; as I mentioned above a lot of electronics, so that could just be me.
Overall I would buy this backpack again and recommend it to a friend! -

Report offensive review7 of 7 people found this review helpfulPricey, but worth it / Perfect gym bag
I've had the travel backpack for a few weeks now and absolutely love it. It's clearly expensive but after shopping around online this was the perfect replacement for the duffel bags I've been using for the gym for years.
-Holds my gym clothes and shoes (main pocket expanded)
-Separate pocket in main area for toiletries, etc. for gym or travel
-Faux fur, separate laptop compartment
-Faux fur small pocket on top for phone/sunglasses/whatever
-Front pocket with many smaller pockets/sections for your keys, phone, etc. while in the gym or traveling
Basically, this holds everything I need day-to-day for an office job and the gym, and keeps everything separate (dirty clothes or padlock vs. smartphone).
The materials seem to be high quality, although I'm worried that the fabric parts (everything except the plastic-y front panel) might start to pill after a while.
I'd definitely recommend this for city-dwellers in need of a day bag or just anyone looking for a gym backpack or small weekend travel bag. -

Just got my EO travel Backpack now, and I'm loving it! I love how Incase put soft fur on the MacBook section as well as the little pocket to prevent the unnecessary damage.
Suggestion:
The suggestion is really personal. I am a biker and planing to bike over Yunnan, China this summer. This is also one of the reasons I brought this travel backpack since it's going to be a long run ( and Incase doesn't have the biking collection). I think it would be great if the backpack is waterproofed. If we are traveling, there is a great chance that we may travel with rain. And the rain may wet the laptop.

Report offensive review5 of 5 people found this review helpfulVery nice bag
I've had this bag for about a month and it is 100% better than the travel backpack I used to carry. Lots of compartments for all my stuff- chargers, notebooks, computers, magazines etc. plus can comfortably hold 2 days of clothes. I had my suit in the bag for two days and hardly noticed. Maybe some more colors would be cool? -

Report offensive review4 of 4 people found this review helpfulTo make it better
There are some items I would like to suggest to make this bag even better, because I like the design, but it's not quite what I need.
1. Make a compartment to hide the shoulder straps so this bag could look better as a briefcase, and when you are on a plane the straps get caught on everything in the carry on.
2. Give the straps a waist belt, possibly with a little compartment for a phone or passport. I love to travel, and I basicly live out of my backpack, which means this thing goes on my shoulders for long periods of time as I backpack through countries. It needs a little some some for support and comfort. -

I purchased this backpack prior to my two week trip over to Japan. Having this be the third time over there I had one big problem of having all my gadgets organized with ease of access. After bringing this backpack with me I was surprised with the amount of stuff I could lug around in this backpack. It's can hold a lot without making it look like a big suitcase on your back. Never regretted purchasing this backpack and you won't either!!! -

Report offensive review4 of 4 people found this review helpfulVery well thought out backpack with great build quality!
Space for 2 days travel is a massive understatement, I managed to easily pack in 5-6 days worth of clothing consisting of 2x pants, 1x walk shorts, 6x tee's, 6x boxer/briefs and pairs of socks, 2x long sleeve shirts along with a 13" MBP+GoPro and associated chargers, A5 journals and travel documents...and I still had room to spare easily.
The pack was not overloaded or bulging at the seams at all, and was very comfortable to wear. Your main limitation is your airline of choice and their carry on weight limit (if they check you carry on's weight that is).
My only gripe is the fleece lined stash pocket under the top strap is not wide enough and slightly annoying to access, it would have been a perfect sunglasses stash pocket had it been a bit wider (I use it for my GoPro instead). Also the overall lack of rigidity is slightly annoying for the aesthetics of the bag as it can look bulged or out of proportion when not packed immaculately (but thats the OCD/fussy in me).
I waited long and hard, and did as much research as possible before I bit the bullet and bought this bag...and I am very happy with the purchase, well done Incase. -

I hesitated on this at first because I wasn't thrilled about the styling, but I'm glad I went with this pack. The pack looks small when all folded up, but has 4 compartments, with a grand total of 13 pockets for keeping stuff organized. Everything is well padded to protect sensitive equipment. It opens flat two different ways, to make packing and traveling easy, which is my favorite feature. Airport security is a breeze when I can just open the bag and go! -

I literally bought this backpack days before my trips, and here's what I think. First trip was a road trip to San Francisco. I spent 5 days in SF, and fit everything I needed in the backpack. Laptop and external hard drive included! The ultimate test was taking this backpack on my next trip to Hawaii. I spent 4 days in HI, and fit all that I needed. The backpack fit right in under the seat; no hassle checking in any bag(s) and the ease of taking out my laptop during TSA checkpoint made traveling simple. You're probably asking yourself, "How did she fit 5 days in that?!" It's just the tips and tricks you learn while traveling for years ;) -

Ordered the EO Travel Backpack specifically for a trip I was taking to Denver from Los Angeles. I knew I would be hiking, partying, going to a concert at the beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheater, and bumming around my friends apartment - I needed to bring a variety of clothes and shoes with me! I was able to (strategically) pack 5 full days worth of clothes/accessories, a pair of Clarks, Vans, and sandals, my MacBook Air, and a few other nonsense items. I even used the straps on the side of the bag to hold my jacket as well. I love this bag - it's my go to from now on! -

Report offensive review2 of 2 people found this review helpfulNice Weekend Traveler
The bag has lots of pockets in convenient places, the compression straps are excellent, and I've had very little problem traveling for even a week with this bag (using vacuum bags for my clothing as well). I also love the side handle.
Two things I'd change:
(1) Add a water bottle carrier. I have to attach mine with a carabiner, which is annoying.
(2) More waterproofing on the tops/sides of the bag. -

Report offensive review2 of 3 people found this review helpfulGreat Bag; Version 2 can improve in these areas!
Like other reviewers, this bag is great for the 2-4 days travel. I'm 6'3 and all my clothings are quite large, and I can still pack the following into this bag: 2 undies + 2 dress shirts + 2 pairs of socks + Under Armour workout shirt and shorts + 2 under shirts; 13 Retina Mac Pro, iPad + MiPad + 3 chargers + PowerBank + pens + facial wash + deodorant + banking USB keys + misc tools + usually a Wired magazine + HDMI wires + keys + headphones + coins + biz cards.
Great bag!
Things that can be better next time:
-Have indicators on the adjusting shoulder straps; for heavy outings like the above packing, differing strap length is really noticeable. Having some form of indicator will be greatly helpful.
-A transforming bag! Given the middle part can be zipped off to make for a larger space, is it possible to detach the front part of the bag in a new design? So I can ditch all the chargers and heavy stuff in the "front" part of the bag, and just carry the essentials like passport and computer in the "back". -

Report offensive review2 of 3 people found this review helpfulGreat quality bag with innovative design
The design of this bag is great. You can fit a ton of clothes & gadgets. However, be prepared to have a large bag on your back. When fully loaded, the backpack is huge. Luckily the compression straps help minimize that. I love this bag and it complements my duffle and roller whenever I travel. -

I usually travel my weekends for work, and I got to say that even though this bag may look small, it can pack a lot of stuff. I can have everything in one bag, instead of three separate ones.
The only thing I would recommend is more color because my wife and I both have one, and at time it is confusing to which is who's. -

This is my third Incase backpack and this travel EO will be used on every trip from now on. All you need is this backpack and a small carry-on roller and you're good to go for a week long trip or more. Being a minimalist packer it is more than ample to fit everything I need using the stacking folding method. The ability to make the bag bigger and smaller serves great function as well if you decide to unload items in your hotel room then carry a smaller bag around at your destination. It is also very comfortable, durable, and spacious without looking awkward on your back. I would definitely recommend this if you are in the market of buying a multi-day traveling backpack. -

Maybe if it can be more functional inside would be better. And I am thinking a better manual will help. -

I used this bag for a 3 night trip. I have always been the type of person to over pack so using this bag allowed me to have a challenge and minimize my travel essentials. With the help of travel space bags I was successful. I was able to pack a couple tank tops , shorts, pj's, a couple tops for dinner, a summer dress, swim wear, workout clothes, sneakers and a pair of sandals. ( good thing it is summer and clothes are thinner!) It was also great on the plane; many airlines now charge for carry on bags (the ones you put overhead). I was able to fit my fully expanded bag under the seat. Fortunately I have short legs, so leg room is never a problem for me. I have also used it as a gym bag. After work sometimes I like to go for a workout and carrying my gym bag into the office is such a hassle. The EO bag is professional looking and sleek. I am able to carry my shoes and workout clothes without expanding the bag. I cannot wait to use it for more adventures. -

Have had the bag for a month now & two trips through airports. I am amazed what I can get in there as compared to my previous conventional backpack. Excellent design. Well thought out including the little zippered pocket under the carrying handle for my keys & cell phone when going through airport security. No digging/rummaging trying to find stuff. Just butterfly it open & see everything. -

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend, and he LOVES it. He can fit his laptop, chargers, 2-3 days worth of clothes, toiletries, and more in there. I haven't seen a day when he didn't use it yet, especially since he works in construction and needs a fresh change of clothes after work. My only complaint is that there's only one color. I want one too, and I don't want to get it mixed up with his! -

Got this online finally as it is not available in Singapore. At first wasn't as impressed by it when it arrived compared to what I saw on the internet. But man it is huge and functional! I am in Bali now and I managed to squeeze in 4 days worth change of clothes, my ipad, books and cables. When out walking on the streets if Bali, I had on the backpack and used it to stash my purchases and food with lots of space left over.
Only gripe, the front panel water resistant doesn't help you in the rain ; the other fabric segments will still get wet. The bag is over 1kg itself so it can be quite a sore when carrying long hours (and I like carrying on single strap). The other thing to note when fully loaded is that the handles (top and the in eat the side) is fixed a little offset the centre when you extend the centre luggage compartment, thus carrying it by those handles feels a little off balance. -

Report offensive reviewEO Travel Backpack
After using the EO Travel Backpack for the last month or so, I find it to be a very useful piece of luggage. It has ample room for all of my office supplies, and I love the fact that I can keep my essential clothing and toiletry items with me in this bag in the cabin as I travel. My favorite part of this backpack is that it works as a system with the other EO travel luggage and that it is designed for Apple products. In order to improve the design, I would like to make two small suggestions:
1) Please include a strap on the outside of the backpack where it meets your back to allow the pack to be secured to the handle of the EO Rollers. This will make it much easier to use the backpack with the rollers as a system and remove the need to have to always carry the backpack on your back when traveling.
2) The team at Incase are design geniuses so I would love to see a more minimal design that includes less buckles and straps on the sides. These really detract from the sleek look of the luggage, and they can be confusing at times.
Other than those two suggestions, I think that the team at Incase has made a great product that most all of us weekly business travelers can use for many years. I am definitely looking forward to future iterations of this product. -

LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag. I can't say enough good things about it. The ability to put your computer safely in the same carry on that your clothing is going in is great. And the cinches on the side that buckle are great for putting a small jacket in for when it gets cold on the plane. Two complaints, or more "wish list" items. It would be awesome if the computer carry portion had a feature where it could be removed for single day use, or when the carry on bins are full and they want you to check the bag. Second, A water bottle holder on the side would be amazing. -

Bought this product with a 4 day trip to Vegas in mind, and yes i was able to fit 4 days worth of light clothing with a spare pair of shoes no problem,. Including toiletries, electronics of various sorts and other travel nick knacks, I was able to stuff this pack and still had several cubic inches of space leftover. That being said, I rated this product only 4 stars. The reason being was due to the odd placement of the handles?? Why the the designer would offset the location of the handles was a little perplexing as it lent to an uneven feeling when carrying the pack with said handles. I understand the shoulder straps lend to the backpack functionality but in my opinion placing the handles in a more central location would allow for easier handling of the pack, particularly in tight spaces such as airplane aisle ways and overhead bins. Overall I was pleasantly pleased with the EO travel backpack and would have easily rated this product 5 stars if not for this slight quirk in its design. -

This bag really is amazing and is the almost perfect bag for a few days of travel. With the expansion, I fit outfits for 4 days and a pair of shoes, plus my laptop and a couple books in the other pockets.
The ad is a little deceiving, because I have yet to find an airport where they don't make you take your laptop completely out of the bag.
The one part that would make this bag perfect is if the whole laptop section zipped completely off so it could be used as a small laptop backpack as well. Often when I travel, I go to a local coffee shop to do some computer work, and it would be ideal to not have to take the whole backpack. As of now, I have to empty my luggage out and leave it in the hotel. Not too big of a deal.
Great travel bag though. Incase does it again. -

I travel between houses because my parents are divorced and this backpack has made my life traveling much easier. I also travel frequently and this backpack along with the EO travel roller hard shell has made exploring the continents much easier.

The EO "Measures Up"....literally
I own Tom Bihn bags, Tumi, Vicrorinox, TravelPro, Pacsafe, Samsonite, Osprey and then some.
I recently went to China where I had to go from Hong Kong to mainland China (via train) and then back again. My roller suitcase was too much of a hassle. I needed to find one bag that could hold my laptop and business items as well as a few days of clothes.
I purchased the EO as I saw it had a collapsible compartment designated for clothing as well as compression straps to literally change the size of the backpack.
Now I can use ONE bag...literally. Once I check-in at the hotel I can remove my clothing (I use packing cubes), then cinch the straps on the EO and I now have a stylish office backpack to tote my laptop and business items.
