Well made, very durable. My last Incase lasted 12 years with regular travel! This one is much more solid and has a firm structure!
I bought it two weeks ago for an upcoming international travel and it loads up so well, so many pockets, I really love it. The only negative is that it is difficult to hold it while it sits on top of your roller suitcase. The handle is a bit stiff and sits way back so it stretches your hand and your are not fully in control of both the roller suitcase and the bag..
I'm a network field producer and travel like crazy. I really couldn't be happier with my new ICON backpack! I've owned many high-end backpacks, including a Tumi Alpha, which I really like, but the ICON is slim, lightweight and truly the best tech backpack I've ever owned! Keep it up INCASE!
I have been traveling for work since 1992. I had a range of computer bags over the years and ended up converting to a backpack 10+ years ago. My NorthFace Surge was awesome but looking very worn. Both one of my co-workers and wife commented about the look of my bag in the same week. I read a ton of reviews and watched reviews on youtube before selecting this one. Its different so its taking me some time to get used to where I put things but overall it has a much better appearance. Looks at place walking into a board room. I was really missing a zipper pocket for my passport and spare cash until I found the one hidden up high in the compartment just before the laptop compartment. I need to put it to more use before I go higher than 4 stars but it looks like it will do nicely.
I've had my ICON backpack since it came out in 2014 and it's been the best backpack I've ever had. After 7 years of hard use and abuse the zippers have finally broke. However, in those 7 years, it was my go-to backpack for school, work, and travel. I appreciate the blend of materials that are used for the different compartments. Soft materials for the laptop and sunglasses, durable fabrics for the internal pockets, and stout straps. It's compartmentalized enough so everything has a specific storage space (from headphones, computer mouse, pens, books, tablets, etc) but big enough to hold larger items like a pair of shoes. It will stand the test of time and I've been hard pressed to find another backpack that keeps me as organized as the ICON.
