Hipsack with BIONIC®
Our collection designed with Bionic® yarn — a durable material created from recovered plastic pollution found in marine and coastal environments — is our way of removing some of the plastic invading our waters and repurposing it into everyday products you already need.
The Incase Bionic Hipsack is constructed from BIONIC® FLX™️ yarn, which is a high-grade yarn made from recovered ocean plastic. Not only is this material impressively durable but yields a variety of performance and aesthetic properties such as abrasion-resistant micro-ripstop qualities to protect your essential items while on-the-go. Multiple mesh, zippered inner pockets are strategically sized and positioned to keep you organized, while the zippered outside pocket is perfect for items you access often. Designed to ride comfortably and out of the way on your hip or over the shoulder, with a strong adjustable waistband and secure clasp, you’ll barely know it’s there. Together, the Bionic Hipsack’s smart features and resilient Bionic ripstop construction make it the ideal everyday-carry for your wallet, keys, phone, Airpods, charger, thumb drives, energy bars, Passport and more.

I love the bag but the plastic snaps that that connect always breaks. This is my second bag. As u can see the right part of the hook is missing.
I love this bag so much, I use it for everything and wear it every day!
The material from which this is made is composed of PET - the plastic that water bottles are made from. PET is not a big problem in ocean plastic as most of it is gathered up at the river sources because it has recycle value. Most of the ocean plastic problem is HDPE (polyethylene). That doesn't make this a bad product, but you should know you're not really saving the oceans by buying it.
