Q: How do I change the image on my case?

A: Open the app, select or upload an image, choose between Color or B/W, and tap “Publish” to update the display.

Q: What image formats are supported?

A: The app supports JPEG and PNG files for optimal display.

Q: Can I use live wallpapers or animations?

A: No, the Incase My Flip-Screen Case display screen only support static images, but you can update the image anytime through the app.

Q: How often can I change the image?

A: You can update the image as often as you like! Transfers take just a few seconds.

 

Connectivity & Compatibility

Q: Which iPhones are compatible with the case?

A: The case is designed for iPhone 14/15/16/16 Pro operating on iOS 18.0+

Q: Do I need an internet connection to update the image?

A: No, images are transferred via NFC technology, so you only need your case on your iPhone.

Q: What if the image doesn’t transfer properly?

A: Ensure the case is on the device, restart the app, and try again. 

Q: Does this case work with MagSafe?

A: No, this case is not compatible with MagSafe.

Q: Does this case work with wireless charging?

A: No, this case is not compatible with wireless charging

 

Battery & Power Usage

Q: Does the case drain my iPhone’s battery?

A: Minimal power is used only during image transfers. Once set, the display remains unchanged without consuming power.

Q: How long does the image stay on the case?

A: The E-Display retains the image indefinitely until you update it via the app.

 

Troubleshooting

Q: What if I denied camera access? How do I enable it again?

A: If you chose not to allow camera access when first prompted, you can enable it anytime by going to your device’s Settings > Flip-Screen > Camera, and switching it on. This will allow the app to use your camera when needed.

Q: What if I denied access to my photo library? How can I enable it later?

A: If you chose not to allow the app to access your photo library, you can enable it anytime by going to your device’s Settings > Flip Screen > Photos, and selecting "All Photos" or "Selected Photos" to grant access. This will allow the app to display and import images from your personal photo library.

Q: I requested a password reset but didn’t receive the email. What should I do?

A: If you’ve requested a password reset but haven’t received the email, please check your spam or junk folder. If it’s not there, ensure you entered the correct email address and try again.

Q: Why does my image look stretched or cropped on the e-display case?

A: The image display may appear distorted if the original photo’s aspect ratio doesn’t match the screen dimensions of the e-display (which uses a 4" screen). To optimize how your photo appears, we recommend using images that are closer to a portrait orientation (taller than wide) and avoid square or ultra-wide formats.

You can also try cropping or adjusting the image in your photo library before uploading it to the app to improve how it fits the display.

Q: The image appears faded or unclear. What should I do?

A: If your image looks faded or unclear after uploading, it may need to be adjusted before being used in the app. We recommend making any brightness, contrast or clarity adjustments directly in your phone’s photo library before importing it into the Flip-Screen. Use a high-contrast 4-color image for best results. (Note: Blue is not a supported color)

Q: My case is not pairing with the app. How do I fix this?

A: Ensure the case is on the device, restart the app, and try again. 

Q: Can I remove the case without losing the image?

A: Yes! The image stays displayed even when the case is removed.
