Works well, but falls apart around inside edgesI see Incase and other companies often write "seamless design" as a selling point, but usually this means "falls apart quickly." While 95% of this case works extremely well, the inside edges where your fingers are often touching (for swiping, buttons, etc.) falls apart - so basically, the most important and heavily-used part of the structure fails spectacularly. Typically it's understandable if there is some minor fraying, especially with heavy use, but since they went with seamless instead of stitching around the inside edge, the whole edge lifts up off the plastic core. Glue was never going to hold up to a device like this, so I'm not sure why they went with it. If it were a $20 case, I'd possibly pardon the subpar construction and steer clear of it the next time - or even the brand, but I have other Incase products I absolutely love, so I'm getting their new Slim jacket to replace this one, which doesn't have that edge around the inside.
If you barely use your iPad (maybe just watching a movie once or twice a week?) it'll probably still work very well. I will say, I thought I'd use the little gutters for standing the iPad up way more, but I don't. The first (lower) gutter has an angle that isn't very usable - and the iPad slips out of it easily. The second one works well and the angle is usable when standing on a table and watching a movie or something, but I don't usually sit near a table to watch a movie - I'm usually in bed, so I'm holding it and it's not going to hold in that little, somewhat slippery gutter when sitting on top of my stomach and it certainly doesn't hold when you touch or interact with the iPad in any way.
Overall, I'd say pass. Try out the Slim case, which happens to be cheaper by the way.
