positive travel experienceI have done several international trips with this bag now, and it's great. Fits my D600 + 2 lenses, MacBook Air 13", chargers for the laptop and phone, as well as misc travel documents.
Wish list of improvements: I wish the inside were kept the same as the DSLR Sling. More small pockets for things like memory cards , and foldable dividers for fitting the camera with a long lens on it.

Best Camera Bag EverI am on my second Ari Marcopoulos bag. I've tried bigger, and smaller bags, this one is a perfect day pack. My first bag wore out. I recommend using the rain fly as added layer of protection from all the elements. I ditched the rain fly the first time around and my bag suffered. This next bag I have will probably get more miles out of it now that I am utilizing the rain fly more often now.

Wish I could give 4.5 starsI've been using this as my main bag for 2.5 years now. It goes with me on all my trips and photo gigs. I've yet to see a better bag in its class. With efficient packing, you can fit A LOT more than you would initially expect. Although not advertised, I would like to note that this bag CAN fit a 15" MacBook Pro Retina. Its a very tight squeeze, but it can be done. A 13" retina shouldn't be an issue at all. The material is strong and I can confirm that it can withstand the elements. I live in FL and have been caught in torrential downpours with this thing (with and without the rain shoot). The bag has been dripping wet, but everything inside has been kept dry. The downside is that the material does get dirty quickly. I would recommend keeping it away from dirt or dust, as particles can rub into the material. The padded straps and carrying handle are perfecto. I also love the exterior design and the interior color. Many camera bags are black and our camera gear is black. When in low lit situations, having a light grey colored interior really makes it easy to find things quickly.
Also, I can confirm that this bag fits a 70-200mm lens no problem. Nikon, Canon, and Sigma
Just so you have an idea how much can actually fit in this bag, this is what I currently have in it:
Nikon D700 with battery grip
Sigma 50mm 1.4 (I keep this attached to the D700 when in bag)
Nikon 24mm 1.4
Nikon 50mm 1.8 for free lensing
Gary Fong Light sphere
Portable video light
Chargers and cables
To INCASE: I have two recommendations for you.....(1) design the bag to accommodate MacBook's. I hate having to carry another bag for my laptop because i love this bag so much. (2) Design the bag so that the section inserts can be more customizable. Currently we do not have much choice where to put the inserts.

It's not half bad...... I love this bag. It looks cool, slings easily and if you're not carrying heavy gear it's great. If you're carrying a lot though it is ergonomically better to have two straps.
The big fault with the bag is the fabric gets dirty FAST. On the one hand that's not too bad, but sometimes I look at it and think it looks grim compared to the day I bought it. Maybe it should be sprayed with some sort of hydrophobic layer so that it doesn't trap so much.

Best bag I've ever used. This was my second major camera purchase I'd saved up for, having previously used far more bulky and cumbersome camera bags. I'm a street and event photographer so the slim design is perfect for moving around in a crowd or being chased by animals down alleys. The sling grab handles made it so easy to access the camera. The only reason a shot could be missed was when I hesitated to take it.
I was getting ready to take a trip and forgot that I left my bag in my truck. Someone loved your bag so much that they broke in my window to get it. I can't say I blame them. Regardless of whether or not it looks like a camera bag it is a pretty damn sexy bag. I'm about to leave for an event and my cheaper replacement bag has just broken completely. I am going to be purchasing a new one of these at the earliest opportunity that presents itself.
The matte black iPhone 5 slider case is pretty phenomenal also.

Ari BagExtremely comfortable and well made. Wore it around Paris for a week 10+ hours a day taking various photos. Much better than my previous bag. Happy I upgraded.

Love it!Love this bag!! I've purchase one 2 yrs ago and used everyday. On a sad note, I left my ari bag in my car overnight. Woke up to see my car was stolen. Never got to say bye to my Ari bag. = (
Still love it.So I left my first review almost 3 years ago, and I bought a new one almost immediately after the first was stolen.
Yesterday it finally broke. Three years! It travelled, it adventured, it went everywhere.
If you're looking for a camera/work/travel/outdoor-activity/overnight bag. This is it.
Super durable. Years of over-stuffing and abuse finally wore down the main zipper
Great capacity. As my work bag it fit a 15 in Macbook Pro, Medium Intuos 5 tablet, iPad, notebooks, and cables/accessories.
Also, it just looks great.
Time to save up for the black edition...
The best every day camera bag I've ever bought 3 ofThat title is sort-of true, I did just purchase my third Ari bag but the second one was an exchange for my first.
This bag is so smart, so convenient, and so stylish in the sense it doesn't look like a camera bag. I get compliments all the time on this bag from people who have no interest in cameras. That's a win for me. Not for my style-ego (helps that too I guess) but for the security of my gear and for my ability to shoot and blend into crowds. I've taken this bag around the world with me traveling for the past 5 years or so (got it when it was released). I just bought a new one because my second one was dirty and abused and I thought it was a piece of equipment that I literally use every single day and it would be nice to have a new, clean version. I can't say enough about how perfect so many parts are. The compartments, sections, pockets, adaptability of partitions. The rain cover is incredible, perfect when there's more than a Little Wayne :). The height of the bag allows you to swing it around in front, and keep it open, leaving lenses and gear accessible while you move is one of my favorite parts. If it was truly designed by a photographer (Ari) then it shows. If it wasn't, then the designers did their research and spent time figuring out some important things which I believe because I own one other Incase camera bag and it's awesome too. I've "sold" (convinced) so many people to buy this bag, it's ridiculous. There's very little I would change, which brings me to the next point.
The reason I got the second bag was because the zipper went bad. The main zipper years later went bad on my second bag. It was out of warranty. I actually had a luggage repair place put a new, really tough zipper on that bag. It looked "okay". It sort of matched the gray look of the bag but it was a bit shabby. That along with the fact that I've taken that thing to so many countries shooting with me over years had it looking bad and that's what had me purchase the new one. The new, third bag, came and it's exactly like the others. It didn't come in the cool box that the others did but that's fine. However, it still has the same lightweight zipper. I think the way the bag is constructed with certain curves and folds adds to the pressure put on this zipper which, I'm sure, will have it break over time again. I know this and still bought it. My only other issue is that it will sometimes slide down off my shoulder where it's not as comfortable as if it were to sit the way I think it was intended to sit. This is hard to explain, I apologize. Hopefully, when this one goes bad it will still be under warranty. When Incase did replace the first one, the experience was amazing as so many buying experiences have been. I purchased one bag days before a trip and the sales woman I spoke to on the phone called the guys in the warehouse and had them ship the bag using a different service so that I would get my bag before departing. It won me over huge as I'm sure this tome of a review shows.
